- Bright colored shades can highlight chapped and dry lips, so exfoliate before applying any product with a lip scrub. Or try your hand at your own DIY lip scrub. Mix a tablespoon of brown sugar with coconut oil, and then rub the scrub onto your lips. After one minute, wipe off with a damp washcloth and apply lip balm. Next, apply a moisturizing lip balm.
- Apply a bright, bold pink pigment and press onto lips. Use a similar toned liner. Because this look is so bold, don't apply the pigment at once. Instead, use a brush to gradually build the color. Blot and layer.
