Bold & Beautiful: Spring Runway Makeup Trends Unveiled | Orglamix

You might still be wearing boots and warm, cozy sweaters before you leave the house or scraping snow off your car but that doesn’t mean you can’t dream about spring. Here are three of the funkiest and freshest makeup looks straight from the S/S 2013 runways to get you inspired for warmer weather.

Makeup artist Peter Philips created this pretty in pink look to contrast the ’90s grunge-inspired plaids and florals of Dries Van Noten’s S/S ’13 collection. Flawless skin was a quiet backdrop for a saturated matte fuchsia mouth. Too gorgeous! This is one of our favorite looks for Spring.

For Chloe’s spring/summer 2013 runway show, lead makeup artist Diane Kendal went for a graphic copper eye with just a hint of a wing. The rest of the face was kept fresh and natural so those peepers could really shine.

Indulge your inner child with this finger-painted makeup technique seen on the Peter Som spring/summer 2013 runway. Inspired by Valley of the Dolls and rebellious rich girls, makeup artist Tom Pecheux created this watercolour effect using candy-hued MAC Paint Sticks. This look is all about a DIY feel, so imperfection is perfect.
