DIY Beauty: Lavender Rosemary Wax Melts

A refreshing scent that's bursting with relaxing  lavender and topped with uplifting rosemary for a burst of freshness.

Ingredients:

  • Soy Wax Flakes

  • Lavender Essential Oil

  • Rosemary Essential Oil

  • Dried Rosemary

  • Dried Lavender

  • Glass Measuring Cup

  • Silicone Mold

  • Wooden Craft Stick

Instructions:
Fill a 2 cup glass measuring cup with approximately 1 1/2-2 cups of the soy wax flakes. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Using a wooden craft stick, stir. After the first minute, continue to microwave (on high) in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until all the wax has melted.

Once the wax is melted, stir in the lavender and rosemary essential oils. We used a mixture of 50 drops of the essential oil (40 drops of lavender, and 10 of the rosemary). Feel free to adjust the ratio to your preference. 

Next, carefully pour the mixture into a silicone mold, filling them about 3/4 full.

Sprinkle a bit of dried lavender and rosemary onto the tops, and allow them to harden.

Once the wax has completely hardened, pop the wax melts out of the mold.

Now they are ready! To use, simply place 1 or 2 in a wax melt warmer and enjoy.
