This is my favorite eyeshadow ever, and I have quite a collection. Silk has replaced several other similar eyeshadows, which I actually tossed out or gave away after finding this shade. I ordered the pressed variety and I absolutely love it. I'm a warm-toned gal with brown-green hazel eyes, and this is the perfect rosy-gold -- sort of a cross between champagne and shell pink. It lasts until I remove it.
Everything is absolutely perfect about this eye shadow from the texture, pigment, how its buildable, becomes more of a metallic- peachy color when wet, to its long-wearing staying power. I am frequently asked what eyeshadow I'm wearing when I wear this. Silk is definitely a must have!
I wasn't sure about this color at first. I was wearing a coral colored maxi dress that same day I tried this eye shadow and was really surprised how similar the color and the eye shadow were. It's a soft neutral color, but still is a nice coral. I like the slight shimmer to it as well.
